Yes, you can take the techniques learned in the class and apply them to the iPad. There is also a bonus training that will cover how to draw with Procreate on the iPad. In fact, I use Procreate on the iPad for our daily drawing exercises.
You don't need to be tech savvy for the class. I actually recommend drawing in a sketchbook first. The only tech skill you'll need is the ability to surf the web. We use www.zoom.us for our workshop meetings. You can easily join meetings with a click of a button.
